Our team is basically a group of perfectionists. We love our job and are determined on getting things done in the best way possible and to make our clients as happy as we can. Things, however, can’t always run as smoothly as we’d like them to. Without warning, the forecasted east wind became stronger after our zodiac left the harbour and shrank our search area to the waters outside Fajã d’Ovelha. Our spotter and crew at sea scanned the area the best we could but, unfortunately, there were no cetaceans around.
We make sure to always communicate the reality of whale-watching to our guests ahead of a tour and that, beyond our teams efforts and experience, our success ultimately depends on things we cannot control. It seemed our guests enjoyed todays wild ride nonetheless and all were impressed at the impeccable driving of our captain Daniel through the choppy waters.
