Paul do Mar Pilot Whales on August 9th! Great photo of pilot whales off Paul do Mar…was it morning or afternoon..the photograph?..perhaps you observed the whales off Paul do Mar both in the morning and afternoon?
Hi Paul,
actually we obsered these pilot whales during three trips on this day and they went always more to the west. In the morning we’ve seen them in front of Arco da Calheta. In the midday trip we’ve observed them in front of Calheta/Estreito da Calheta and in the aftrenoon trip they’ve been in front of Paul do Mar. I think your clients went of one of these trips with us.
