Today it was difficult at sea! No marine mammals were found in the morning. In the afternoon, our spotter discovered one Blainville beaked whale (Mesoplodon densirostris). However, this animal was unwilling to show itself to the guests. Despite great patience and intensive participation in the search for the whale on the part of our today’s whale watcher, the whale wanted to remain incognito. He wasn’t willing to be found. We waited a long time, but instead of a photo of a real Blainville beaked whale, there is only a wanted poster photo today. Yes, we also have days like that, although we have such a high sighting rate.
