Great, breathtaking, fantastic, beautiful, touching, exhilarating, impressive, spectacular … eight superlatives for eight Sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus) that let us be part of their lives today. These giants of the blue, deep expanses traveled relaxed through the sea, and we were their enthusiastic fans, their awe-stricken allegiance.
The whales on today’s tour, they dive into a world that most of us cannot imagine. They dive into a depth that we will never reach. And yet there are people who are able to approach this world at least a bit. Just today I saw a wonderful short film (12 Wed.) “One breath around the world”. I would like to share this with you. Dive in, get a feel of the world of the largest toothed whales and let yourself be surprised towards the end. 🙂
