17.01.2017 – Summer or winter depending on taste

After a wide interval, I’ve been back on the ocean. It’s January and the “Madeira inhabitant” is dressing like winter: undershirt, longarm shirt, T-shirt and Hoodie aren’t enough, a windbraker is necessary or a windvest and of course my headband to keep the ears warm. A guest dropped in with T-shirt and shorts and said in Germany it’s -6 degrees. What is winter for one is summer for the other 😉 And the same were our sightings: first the winter dolphins, the common dolphins and the second species to be sighted gave us summer feeling: atlantic spotted dolphins.
