… the little water drop saw so many different things in his life, this is just their nature because water drops are travelers. Our water drop remembered that one day long ago he poured out of a little spring which emerged from the inside of the earth. Yes, not only on top of land, but also underneath the soil there is water. It was a cool morning and slowly the sun arose and warmed up the land. The little creek, in which the water drop swam happily, warmed up as well and suddenly a miraculous transformation happened for the first time in his life. Our water drop got very light and even lighter and he ascended into the sky. Evaporation is the rational word for this process. But truly it was an amazing adventure for the little drop. He floated in between the clouds and saw every tiny little thing from above. But also clouds release their water and many, many little water drops are going on another journey. Some fall on land and they join the water cycle, others fall into the ocean like our little water drop. Here, he was among his peers but there were other creatures as well. This morning started very promising. The ocean was full of fish and other sea creatures had an extensive and fishy breakfast. The sky was full of birds like gulls and Cory’s Shearwaters trying to snatch the best booty pieces. Common dolphins whooshed through the blue and snapped the tastiest bits. Some boats floated on the surface of the ocean and humans onboard marveled about this ongoing. Somewhere a few Bottlenose dolphins swam their labs. A boy named Henning was on one of these boats and the water drop knew that he was already many times before on one of these trips to observe marine mammals.
