Two trips today on Stenella, our speed boat and both times we encountered Bottlenose Dolphins and the speedy Atlantic spottet dolphins. With the Bottlenose dolphins we often don’t stay that long, because they get quiet a lot of visits from boats (privat once, fishing boats and ww boats). With this species the encounters are not always requested by the animals. Our guests do understand, that we only make a short observation, and we can have a clear conscience. Specially the resident Bottlenose dolphins need their resting times, where no boat interfierce. The Spotted dolphins however, often like the presence of our boats and approach leaping towards the boat to surf in the bow.
