20.05.2021 – Unforgettable moments

Today it smelled like summer. In the morning there was a slight dampness in the air, while you could already guess that it would be a wonderful sunny day. It almost smelled like a promise for wonderful sea adventures. Everything seemed possible.

If you take the time to look at nature with open eyes, you will encounter many amazing wonders. If you open your heart to the beauty of our nature, you will be presented with unforgettable moments.

It was like that today when we met the Striped dolphins (Stenella coeruleoalba) with their extraordinarily drawn bodies, who were curious and sought in absolute trust the vicinity of our boat. Such situations with this species of dolphin are rare, very rare, and they gave us unforgettable moments.

So it was today when we could hear the Short-finned Pilot whales (Globicephala macrorhynchus), which were accompanied by some Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus), during their distinct exhalation. Your own breathing rhythm immediately becomes calmer and deeper. An unforgettable moment.

So it was today when one of the Bottlenose dolphins decided to accompany us for a while and take a closer look at us. Without any effort, he slipped through the blue and looked at us calmly. This deep feeling of being seen is an unforgettable moment.

It was like that today, when pretty crabs were sitting on a piece of driftwood and we discovered Trigger-fishes (Balistidae) underneath. Daniel, our skipper who showed a skillful hand when catching one of these fish, explained to the guests how the Trigger-fish got its name. An unforgettable moment.

So it was today when the lively Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis) circled the boat in their incomparable curiosity. When these little dolphins fly through the air, you can feel the enthusiasm of the guests. More unforgettable moments.

It was like that today when we saw the Loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta) with its fishy entourage. Previously, two Bottlenose dolphins tried to catch these fishes. But they escaped and hurried away with the sliding turtle. An unforgettable moment.

Every trip out to sea to our sea friends is an encounter with nature. With open eyes, senses and hearts, we can experience great and small miracles out there. Such unforgettable moments as today are priceless and will certainly stay in the memory of the guests. An unforgettable impression for the heart, I hope.
