Homo sapiens

Zwei Fahrten zu den Pottwalen heute auf unserer “Stenella”, wohl die letzten Fahrten für die nächsten Tage, denn Wind ist angesagt. Doch heute konnten wir geschickt und geschwind dem Regen ausweichen. Wer enttäuscht war, keine Delfine gesehen zu haben, ist selber Schuld und hat im Leben noch einiges zu lernen, vielleicht von den Kindern… Wir nehmen die Natur so wie sie ist und da sind fliegende Fische oder Schildkröten genauso freudig willkommen, wie der Fahrtwind oder der Blick auf unsere schöne Insel. Wir er-leben die Natur jeden Tag aufs neue und sind froh, dass wir leben und er-leben dürfen, was immer uns begegnet.

Two trips to the Sperm whales today with our “Stenella”, probably the last trips this week because the weather isn’t looking so bright, forecasts are windy. Today we managed to flee from the rain, after all it is FALL! For those who where dissapointed for not seeing dolphins (“only” sperm whales) you still have quit a few things to learn in life! we take nature as it is, and are allways happy about every sighting, even if we “only” get to see our beautiful island from the sea!

Hoje tivemos duas vezes encontros com Cachalotes, saímos duas vezes com o “Stenella”. Provavelmente serão as ultimas viagens desta semana porque as previsões são de vento e chuva. Foi com muita perícia que conseguimos hoje fugir da chuva no mar, mas chegamos secos a terra! Para quem ficou triste por não ter visto golfinhos (“apenas” Cachalotes) a vida ainda tem muito para lhes ensinar. Nós aceitamos a natureza como ela é, sejam avistamentos espetaculares de cetáceos, tartarugas, peixe voador ou apenas uma “fotografia” da ilha noutra perspectiva, a do mar, nós ficamos felizes!
