4.4.2014 – Wal von fern, Delfine ganz nah

Vorerst einmal nur die Fotos der Stenellafahrt, die Fotos der Sichtungen der Ribeira Brava bekomme ich wohl erst ganz spät am Abend oder morgen, denn Fatima gibt ja heute im Calheta Beach ihren interessanten Vortrag über die Meereswelt vor unserer schönen Insel. Jeder ist willkommen im Hotel Calheta Beach unten in der Sala Galé und um 21 Uhr geht es los. Auf der Stenella sahen wir zuallererst einmal einen tollen fliegenden Fisch, dann jede Menge Gemeine Delfine und Streifendelfine, gemeinsam jagend mit ganz vielen Gelbschnabel,- und Schwarzschnabel Sturmvögeln. Eine dicke portugiesische Galeere präsentierte sich uns und auf dem Rückweg trafen wir noch auf einen Bartenwal, vermutlich ein Finnwal, aber er war nicht so photogen. Wir sahen mehrere Male den großen Blas und dann mehrmals den schönen großen Rücken. Kein Foto wurde geschossen, es bleibt die schöne Erinnerung.

Nein, die Fatima war doch schneller als gedacht, ein aufgewecktes, fleissiges Kind 😉 Dank ihr nun doch erst die Fotos von der Ribeira Brava Fahrten, denn mein Fotoprogramm spinnt und will und will nicht aufmachen. Hier also von der Ribeira Brava von Regenbogen über Portugiesischer Galeere und Schwarzschnabel Sturmtaucher hin zu Streifendelfinen und Gemeinen Delfinen ein Sortiment der heutigen Touren und die Fotos von der Stenella werden selbstverständlich schnellstmöglich nachgeliefert.

First I will be posting the pictures from our Stenella tour, the pictures from the Riveira Brava tour I will be getting later or maybe tomorrow because Fatima will be presenting her lecture about “whales and dolphins around Madeira” today as 9.00 p.m. in the Calheta Beach hotel, Sala Galé, you are all welcome! First thing sighted on our tour was a flying fish, lots of common and striped dolphins, some Cory's Shearwater and Manx Shearwater and a big portuguese-man-of-war. On our way back we saw a big baleen whale, we think it was a Fin whale, we saw the blow and the beautiful back a few times. Unfortunatlly we where not able to take pictures of this moment, we will keep it in our memories.

Well since Fatima is a hard worker and allways a step ahead of us the first pictures we will be posting will be the ones we took on our Ribeira Brava tour. Adding to that my computer isn't having a good day and I can't upload the pictures from the trip with Stenella, I will be posting them later.

Hoje tivemos duas viagens, uma com o Ribeira Brava e outra com o Stenella. Primeiro vou postar as fotos do Stenella porque hoje a noite a Fatima tem a sua palestra no Calheta Beach as 21.00 (Sala Galé) e só depois é que vou receber as fotos da viagem com o Ribeira Brava. O primeiro avistamento foi um peixe voador, depois muitos golfinhos comuns e riscados, algumas cagarras e patagarros, uma grande caravela portuguesa e no regresso ainda passamos por uma baleia de barbas. Desconfiamos que tenha sido uma baleia comum mas não conseguimos fotos que nós ajudassem na identificação. Vimos alguns sopros e a linda dorsal por várias vezes.

Bem, a Fatima hoje esmerou se! Ainda recebi as fotos da viagem com o Ribeira Brava antes da palestra. E o programa que faz o upload das fotos para o pc não está em sintonia comigo hoje portanto só poderei postar as fotos quando está birra passar 😉 Seguem se então as fotos:
